Arab Weather - The latest satellite images indicate strong thunderstorms approaching the southern Jordan Valley, accompanied by heavy rain showers in some areas. Flash floods are possible in valleys and low-lying areas. Please stay away from waterways during rainfall.

The desert highway area, starting from south of Amman, is also affected by a dense dust storm, which reduces visibility due to what is called downdrafts.
